Shinko motorcycle tires are backed by a 4-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Professional installation is required for all DOT approved tires. Proof of purchase is required, and must include the dealership name, SKU, sale price, and the invoice date.
50% Free Replacement Guarantee
Any Shinko tire that fails due to a verified manufacturing defect within the first 50% of usable tread will be replaced at no charge (mounting, balancing, and taxes not included).
After 50% Tread Wear
If a defect occurs after 50% tread wear, but still within the 4year warranty period, Shinko will offer a partial replacement at 50% of the current advertised selling price.
What Is Not Covered
- Road or trail hazards (punctures, cuts, impact damage, running flat)
- Damage caused by incorrect pressure, overloading, improper installation, or mechanical issues
- Tires used on trikes, sidecars, trailers, or dynamometers
- Tires used in racing or competition
- Ozone or weather cracking beyond the 4year warranty window
- Tires with less than 1/32" tread remaining
- Damage resulting from misuse or incorrect application
- Altered, modified, retreaded, or improperly repaired tires
How to File a Warranty Claim
If purchased from a dealer:
Return the tire to the original dealer for inspection and processing.
If purchased directly from us:
Complete our Warranty Request Form (link here), including photos of the tire, tread depth, DOT code, and proof of purchase.
Claims must be submitted within 15 days of discovering the issue.
